In the forth week of my new teaching position we are coming close to defining our new "normal."
I am pretty much up to speed with my situation at school. I thoroughly enjoy my students, subject matter and fellow staff and administration. The joy of teaching has returned.
Home life has been more of an adjustment than school life. Each member of the family has had to take on more responsibilities. Time is a diminishing commodity. In all honesty there have been times when each of us have thought it was better for me to not have a job with respect to domestic affairs. Having had a garage sale has aided the purging process and fostering a sense of feeling "at home."
This is not the first time we have seen this movie. We will establish our new routine and will have had another adventure to speak of.
